Pre-Placement training hones us to enhance our skills to improve personality and interpersonal skills which help us to transform our world in better ways .These programmes help us to emerge as professionals to fit into the versatilities of the market. It also helps to work out in 3C’s i.e. commitment, clarity and creativity.

An outbound programme conducted by IITD with the partnership of Fatima College at Divine Centre, Vadipatti, for I MBA students. The session started with Physical activity where we learnt many simple yoga asanas like padmasana, vajrasana and halasana which energise the students to become more active. The second session put light on business ethics delivered by Fr. Varun, Trainer. He also stated the challenges in corporate sector and guided us to overcome such hurdles. 

The next day session blossomed by Mr.Ganesh Ram from Indian Institute of Training and Development. He made us to visualize with many presentations on corporate sector and soft skills like Group Discussion, Interview and Interpersonal skills.

Mr. Arun Kumar Branch Head, IDBI Federal Life Insurance Limited, Madurai, Shared the Corporate expectations from professionals. He emphasized that the professional students should develop core skill set like communication allied knowledge dynamism & self selling skill.Mr. Balamanoranjith, Performance consultant & Learning Facilitator, Gemleg Focused on Goal setting. He stressed on basic career components to achieve the goals such as think big, dream big, set the Goal, write down the goal, and plan the action and action the plan.

Prof. Lawrence, Department of English, American College, Madurai covered Body Language, Group discussion and interviews. He stated that body language covers Eye contact, facial expression, gestures & postures. Ms. Samantha Jenifer, assistant welfare office, Lotus Footwear Enterprises ltd., kancheepuram and Alumnae, MBA Department, Fatima College shared her corporate experiences. She stressed the importance of theoretical knowledge and knowledge on industry cum company profile for the interviews. Mr. Prathap Sethu, Proprietor, Win Win Consultancy emphasized the dos and don’ts in group discussion sessions of the students and insisted on the various evaluation parameters.

JOB PLACEMENT PROGRAMME

                           

                         Job placement programme is the highlight of our professional students that shows the future path of life. The programme was conducted in our campus which provides career guidance, counselling and a range of professional development activities such as building interview skills, writing resume, arranging pre-placement talks, hosting group discussion and more. Two days placement preparatory programme was organized by various talented persons and shared their experience and exposure lively such as IDBI branch head person, American college lecturer and Alumnae of our Fatima College. It created a tentative talent and innovative curriculum for our students. The placement from various corporate like Penguin apparels, Fare wealth insurance, ATS, Smart training, HC etc ensured that Fatima College carries forward its legacy of progress and excellence.
